Protx Integration
Stockashop offers full integration with Protx payment processing.
Protx is a "secure online gateway for credit card processing", meaning that they deposit funds directly into your business bank account (unlike PayPal which uses a separate PayPal account). Their small business service costs £20 per month with no set fees and no transaction charges (for up to 1000 transactions per quarter).
To use Protx with your Stockashop, you will need to:
- Apply for a merchant bank account at one of the banks which Protx works with unless you already have an account. There are many banks listed, including Lloyds TSB, Bank of Scotland and HSBC.
- Create an account with Protx
- During and after your application you will be given a vendor name, simulator login password, simulator encryption password and a different encryption password.
- You will need to let us know all of these
- We will complete the integration process
Your customers will be able to pay by credit or debit card.
