What happens after you sign up
Once you've signed up for a Stockashop website, we will take you through a simple few steps to get you up and running.
Finding out your needs
First of all we'll discuss which features you would like in your website so that you can get the most out of your Stockashop ecommerce system. All of our websites include an easy to use content management system or CMS. You will choose your preferred payment provider (usually PayPal), tax and shipping options. You may have very specific requirements, for example: recurring monthly subscriptions; or free delivery within a 50 mile radius; a second language version or transactions in Australian dollars and GST, so let's discuss your plans.
Choose a name for your Stockashop website
Then we'll ask you to choose a domain name (such as www.yourcompany.co.uk). The Stockashop team will check the availability of your chosen domain name and register it for you. If you already have a domain name registered, then we can redirect it to your new website.
Convert an existing website into an ecommerce site
If you already have a website, linking it to the ecommerce part of a Stockashop website is a very simple way of turning it from a brochure website into an online store, at very affordable prices. There are a few examples of ‘hybrid’ websites in our examples gallery.
Next we'll ask you which email addresses you would like. We can then provide you with your personal email addresses and a webmail facility so that you can pick up your email from anywhere in the world! New anti-virus software will protect your email and effective spam filtering will identify most of the unwanted email.
Welcome letter
You'll receive a welcome letter containing your email address, passwords, and your Stockashop content management system login details.
Adding your products
As soon as you receive your welcome letter, you can start adding products, images and other information to your site. Your site can be ready in as little as a day.

One of our website designers will get in touch with you to discuss how to make the most of your visual identity.
Marketing your website
Detailed weekly graphic web statistics are included as part of Stockashop's web hosting services. So you can measure the results of your marketing activities!
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) tools are also included in the Stockashop content management system to enable you to list your own keywords. Stockashop websites automatically generate a new sitemap to send to Google, every time you make a change on the site. We have tried to think of everything!
